  2. In the poll it's kind of one or the other, but couldn't we have a third way? Lady Ann gets her body back but retains some, shall we say, lower class tendencies, while Burt goes back to his proper class but ends up female!? An improper use of the amulet could explain this, with one retaining mental aspects and another physical i.e. they don’t transform “back” cleanly...Burt could end up a plump; more common and crude looking “Clone” of Lady Ann...While Ann would need to concentrate constantly at all times to keep her more common impulses at bay...especially she’d need to think carefully in order to speak “properly” in order not to “give herself away”..It would also really set the cat among the pigeons if she ended up retaining the preference for women she picked up as Burt while being a “well bred young lady” herself...

    1. Hmmm. I like a lot of these ideas and I've always been attracted to a more lower class destination for them both, but I have to say the book has now been finished so it's going to happen how it happens.

But fear not! I doubt if we've heard the end of Griply Valley or that powerful pendant. Maybe you'll end up getting something that fits your requirements either way...

    1. Thank you. My Omnibus coming out in May is going to be mostly F2F and after Man: Wanted is done with I do have plans for a longer F2F yarn... And then there's the extended Criminal Record novel that's now available on Amazon!

  4. Dear Emma,

I've just finished reading "One Thing Different" (Smashwords, pdf). Although I'm no great fan of transformation stories by "magic" (in my opinion F-F voluntary transformations are much more interesting and plausible), your story has captivated me immensely. Gemma's decision NOT to destroy the statuette is particularly poignant and gives us a foretaste of "Cleaner", a very moving novel. All of the five destinies sketched here can offer the seed for future elaboration. Thank you Emma!

PS Wouldn't it have been interesting if in "Lady Ann's Holiday" the main character had switched places with Mavis?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you liked it.

Have you been followign Lady Ann's Folly? If you do you might just get your wish come true as regards Mavis...

  5. Dear Emma,

Thank you for the message. I must confess, I haven't read the first chapters of Lady Ann II (for the simple reason that I always prefer buying the book which makes a much more comfortable reading than the serialized version,) but I am eager to see how Lady Ann becomes Mavis the wench! Such Lady to Commoner transformations are always exciting.

    1. Cool. You have quite a while to wait I'm afraid. It's a long way from done. I think you'll like it though.

  7. I just purchased "A New You" volume 2 and 3. I am looking for part 2 of the wishing well, but haven't been able to find it. I found part 3, but haven't been able to find part 2.

    1. Part 2 is called The End of Jenny Main. I didn't call it Wishing Well 2 to keep the ending a surprise!

  8. Dear Emma,
I've just finished reading "House Swap" (Smashwords); a very poignant and riveting story. The gradual transition of the characters is (as always) superb and the Epilogue is positively chilling.
    Thank you!

  10. I fear for you. It's been a long time since we've heard from you. I love your stories and your spirit. I hope you are finally getting past your health problems. As a fellow author, I want you to continue to contribute to your brilliant body of work. I pray someone - hopefully you - can tell all your fans out here how you're doing. I wish you well.

  11. Is there any place I could read a story contained in one of your books by itself?

"The Actress and the Cleaner" from New You Vol.3 really caught my eye, without much real interest in the other stories contained in the volume.

If you cannot, I totally understand. Have a great day! :)
