Lady Ann & Burt in Arkham Horror

And now for something completely different.

If you play the board game Arkham Horror then you might find this quite exciting.

Arkham Horror is a narrative game based on the writings of HP Lovecraft where the players play investigators working together to prevent monsters and elder gods from destroying the world.

Anyway, I've been so obsessed by Lady Ann lately that I couldn't help creating characters for her and Burt in the game!

Here is the character card for Ann:

And her background for the game:

And here's Burt:

You'll notice I've created the characters to move round together being dependant on one another. This works well in the game.

Here's the Medallion of Zulo equipment card:

In the game the characters can be given subplot cards. These give them personal goals for aim for.

I designed Ann and Burt's to roughly simulate the story of Lady Ann's Holiday during the game! The black rimmed cards set the scene and tell you what the character has to do. The red and green rimmed cards are the good or bad thing that happens as a result.

I designed it so that Burt has to do his subplot first before Ann does hers.

And finally here are the playing pieces for in the game.

These are just pictures but if anyone out there DOES play Arkham Horror and wants to use these then let me know and I could email you the proper sized files!

I created them all using the free downloadable Strange Aeons software.
