What You May Be Missing

I just wanted to say a big thank you for those of you that have had a taste of my other story serial over on Emma Finn's Thrillers, Self Portrait. I've been getting quite a few hits so obviously people are liking it.

The first chapter is now complete and I've started on the second. It's getting quite exciting.

While I've been preparing my new novel, The Womb Room, ready for publication this coming Wednesday, I wrote a sort of preview to put in the back of the book for Self Portrait and I thought I'd post it here, hopefully to entice a few more people to give the story a shot.

So here it is:

(SPOILER ALERT)

Web Serial Being Posted Free Online Now!
 Self Portrait
Emma Finn

When Jack Catholic’s girlfriend Lucy tells him three secrets, he is so stricken with horror and rage that he kills her and hurls himself off Clifton Suspension Bridge.

But when Jack miraculously survives the fall and being carried downstream for hours and then inherits millions of pounds from an uncle he didn’t even know, he starts to wonder if he isn’t being kept alive for a reason… He sets off to America to uncover the destiny he suspects is waiting for him but he doesn’t realise the peril he is in.

Sam Decker is an insurance investigator about to leave the country with a fortune in embezzled funds, but Lucy is his sister, and when he discovers her corpse, his only choice is to risk everything to track down her killer. Sam is no ordinary man. He is a dangerous sociopath, capable of anything, and he will never ever stop until he has found Jack and exterminated him.

And so the chase begins, with Jack on his quest for redemption, travelling the world, and Sam slowly closing in with only revenge in mind, the police chasing after him in turn.

Jack’s quest leads him into jeopardy, murder, romance and realisation until the shocking and dramatic climax comes to pass and both men must face one another a final time as all secrets are revealed.
